Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) offers Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses throughout most of our middle and high schools.
About PLTW: Project Lead The Way is a nonprofit organization that provides transformative learning experiences for K-12 students and teachers across the U.S. through pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science, students learn problem-solving strategies, critical and creative thinking, and how to communicate and collaborate. SDSU College of Engineering offers a Preferred Admissions Program to all eligible SUHSD students that have completed at least two PLTW Engineering courses with a minimum grade of B and satisfy all the COMPACT FOR SUCCESS requirements. More details HERE.
