CONGRATULATIONS TO EASTLAKE HIGH SCHOOL, EASTLAKE MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND CASTLE PARK HIGH SCHOOL
The San Diego Mayor’s Cyber Cup Finals took place on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at UCSD Supercomputer Center. SUHSD had three teams participating; Castle Park High School, Eastlake High School, and Eastlake Middle School.
The competition was full of surprises for all participants. At the end of the event, Castle Park High School took home 10th place, Eastlake Middle School 9th, and Eastlake High School 5th. A total of 125 teams representing 71 different schools competed at this year’s San Diego Mayor’s Cyber Cup. A very respectful accomplishment for Sweetwater Union High School District.
During the award banquet, each of our teams was awarded $700 for making it to the finals and the students and teachers were given the opportunity to attend a Cyber Bootcamp this summer for free! Watch a video that features the competition HERE.
