Congratulations TitanBOT!!!IMG_6346Titanbotsmall

This past weekend (March 30-April 2, 2016) Eastlake High School’s TitanBOT FRC robotics team #2543 participated in Las Vegas FIRST Robotics Regional competition. After qualification matches their alliance record was 5-6-0, which masked a strong individual performance.  The TitanBot robot ranked eighth in offensive power out of the 49 teams that competed.  This performance led to TitanBOT being the ninth team selected during the alliance selection process.  Although their #8 seeded playoff alliance scored well in the quarterfinals, it was not enough to overcome the #1 seeded alliance, the eventual tournament champion.

Additionally, Zachary Paule -TitanBOT safety captain, was recognized as the Safety Star of the Day on Saturday for his efforts of working with the tournament safety advisors to improve the team’s safety training and emergency response plan and for promoting an elevated safety posture during the competition.
